#besmartaboutart networking is a monthly opportunity to meet artists, curators & other peers, to view exhibitions and spaces, and to expand knowledge - creative and professional alike.
In March 2017, we're heading to The Other Art Fair, THE fair for artists. This fun and interactive event will kick-off at 6.30pm with an introduction (Southampton Row Entrance) by Susan Mumford, BSAA Founder, to the Spring 2017 fair edition. She will also give you three top networking tips that will prepare for walking the fair. This will be followed by visits to three different stands, timed at 7pm, 7.30pm and 8pm, giving you an opportunity to browse the fair in between stopping at those selected stands. With 112 artists showing at the event, there will be a LOT to take in!
Important Note: You need to separately book your art fair entry ticket! Take advantage of a 25% discount available to BSAA, by using the Promo Code BSAA25 when booking your Friday day pass ticket here.
The full pop-up itinerary (for the 3 stands we'll visit) will be sent to participants on Friday morning, 31st March. (Any late bookers will receive an email late afternoon on Friday.)
Be sure to book your ticket to this BSAA pop-up event at the fair, to get the insider's perspective and to meet exhibitors and visitors via the Be Smart About Art network. We look forward to seeing you there for an informative and inspiring occasion!
As refreshments will be available for BSAA event attendees, you'll avoid queues at the bar!

Our mission is to help you thrive in a changing art world.
Founded in 2012 by Art World Entrepreneur Susan Mumford, the progam helps you thrive in a changing world.
Based out of London, England, with a developing event program and Membership community in the Tri-State area as well as Central Arkansas (Susan's childhood home), a founding principle is access to information with the employment of technology.
Accordingly, the online-accessible Members Gateway is updated on a weekly basis, which includes opportunities (art prizes, residencies / fellowships, fairs and more), webinars / audio recordings of BSAA events and talks, templates for your art business, and more.
Additionally, digitally-accessible professional development workshops are already available to purchase and download, and more are being made available throughout 2017.
For individuals seeking custom support, the Creative Specialist Advisors provide one-to-one support, with specialism ranging from business planning to artist-to-artist coaching.
Freely accessible information is also available via www.besmartaboutart.com, noting the many hundreds of blog posts in addition to a selection of videos.
