Among the many surprising tales, you’ll meet the man who claimed to be 152 years old when he died and discover why the playwright Ben Jonson was buried standing upright. These unexpected and unconventional stories reveal a very different side to the Abbey’s history.

This tour will be led by British Sign Language guide Edward Richards and is suitable for British Sign Language users and learners.

British Sign Language is a visual spatial language. It involves a combination of hand shapes, facial expressions, lip patterns and body language.

This tour is open to both BSL users and those studying BSL.
