Hello! Thank you for your interest in our annual conference and AGM. A great event for BSUPA members:

- needing to revalidate their BSUPA Instructor's qualification before the start of the 2025 summer season - wanting to meet the BSUPA team and other Instructors/School Principals, keen to participate and learn - or needing to get on the Conversion pathway from WSA.

We have a great line up of interesting speakers in the morning and then in the afternoon you can participate in our 'micro paddle sessions,' to either revalidate your current BSUPA Instructor certificate in a 'Revalidation Paddle' - or for WSA Instructors, get onto the Conversion pathway to become part of the BSUPA family in a 'Conversion Paddle'. There is an 'Instructor Hacks' paddle for those not needing to revalidate or convert.

Please the following options carefully before making your booking:

1 - If you DO need to revalidate your current Level 1 or Level 2 BSUPA Instructor qualification as part of this event, please email info@bsupa.org.uk in advance of the conference and ask for the relevant examination paper to be emailed to you. Complete it in full and bring it with you to the conference, along with your SUP board, PBA, paddle, appropriate leash and kit. You will be given the opportunity to take part in the relevant 'Revalidation Paddle' with a BSUPA Trainer. If your examination paper and your 'Revalidation Paddle' are acceptable, you will be issued with a new Instructor certificate with 3 year's validity (in the days/weeks after the conference) as part of your conference fee. Please choose the Level 1 or Level 2 £60 ticket at checkout.

2 - If you are a WSA Instructor needing to get onto the Conversion pathway as part of this event, please email info@bsupa.org.uk in advance of the conference and ask for the Level 1 examination paper to be emailed to you. Complete it in full and bring it with you to the conference, along with your SUP board, PBA, paddle, appropriate leash and kit. You will be given the opportunity to take part in the 'Conversion Paddle' with a BSUPA Trainer. He/she will then issue you with a Personal Action Plan to be completed and evidenced satisfactorily before a qualification is issued. Please choose the WSA £15 ticket at checkout.

3 - If you DO NOT wish to/need to revalidate or start conversion, you can still work with others to share and learn in the 'Instructor Hacks' paddle. Please bring with you your SUP board, PBA, paddle, appropriate leash and kit. Please choose the Conference only £15 ticket at checkout.

For ALL - after the paddling, we will all return to the conference room for a wrap up of on-water activities and general discussion/Q&A. The last half hour of the conference will be dedicated to the AGM, finishing at 5.15pm.

4 - If you wish to come to the AGM ONLY at 4.45pm, please choose the 'AGM only, £0 free ticket' option. Thank you.

Please note: This event is for current members of BSUPA only, who need to provide their membership number when they register at the venue in the morning. If you are not currently a member of BSUPA, you will need to join the association PRIOR to attending the conference, via www.BSUPA.org.uk On arrival, you will need to sign a medical/risk form and provide details of your off-site emergency contact. Thank you.

Free tea, coffee and chocolate/crisps/fruit snacks etc. will be provided and there will also be the opportunity to purchase hot snacks and food etc. in the Club's galley. However, you are responsible for providing your own lunch.

There is a large carpark opposite the venue and all parking charges are the responsibility of attendees.

Please do not bring your SUP board into the conference venue as paddling (conditions permitting) will be from the harbour wall next door. Thanks.
