You can register here on Eventbrite orjust come along on the day and head to the sign in table where our friendly volunteers will take your details and get you signed up to the competitions you want to enter! There are no entry requirements – our prizes are open to everyone.

WHO ARE THE BLACKSTOCK TRIANGLE GARDENERS?

BTG is a group of neighbours who have been working together to brighten our streets, improving front gardens and tree pits; sourcing and distributing flowers and vegetable seeds, bulbs, plants and advice. It’s an informal group and we are always on the look out for new volunteers and new ideas. The

WHAT ARE THE TIMINGS OF THE EVENT?

We’ll start the festivities at 2pm and the dog show competitions will start at about 2.30pm
The whole event runs from 2pm til about 5pm though it might go on a little longer if there are still lots of people around.

Question 4

IS IT REALLY ALL FREE?

Yes absolutely! We’ll be giving away winter bulbs, cake and teas and coffees and entry to the dog show is also completely free. Donations are always very welcome to help us fund the next event but there is no obligation at all.

N.B. We can only accept cash donations

TELL ME MORE ABOUT THE FREE BULBS

Accepted Answer

We do regular giveaways of bulbs, plants and gardening supplies (as well as any advice you might need!) - all we ask is that you use what we supply in your FRONT GARDEN or windowbox so it can be enjoyed by the whole neighbourhood

I HAVE AN ALLERGY, WILL THERE BE CAKE FOR ME TOO?

All our cakes are homemade by local volunteers, we’ll have a healthy selection of dairy, gluten and nut free cakes but of course we CANNOT GUARANTEE there is no cross-contamination as the cakes are not made in sterile factory environments.

Question 7

WHAT CHILDREN’S ACTIVITIES WILL THERE BE?

We have a small selection of games for children to play and as we are closing the road, there is also space for them to run around together and play.

Question 8

WHY DO I NEED TO BRING A MUG AND PLATE?

Accepted Answer

There’s no obligation to, but if you can bring your own then it just helps to do your bit for the environment as we can cut down on the amount of disposable equipment we use on the day. We try to utilise re-usable plates and mugs where ever we can already though.

CAN I GET INVOLVED?

Absolutely! We are always looking for volunteers to help with baking cakes, handing out leaflets, setting up on the day and general organisation. If you think you can help in any way then email Kirsty at blackstocktrianglegardeners@gmail.com
