Is it family friendly?

The Gardens always try to be family friendly . This event however is for adults and those over 16 (who must be accompanied by a paying adult). Moon circles can sometimes evoke strong emotions. The experience is always supportive, but not suitable for those under 16

Unless there is a threat to life (and electricity), we tend to keep going. Bring your waterproofs. We take a final decision 2 hours before the event starts. If we have to cancel before we start because of weather, we will usually offer refunds or transfer of tickets to a rescheduled event

Some events and activities take place under the open sided stretch tent on the lawn, and people can shelter form sudden downpours temporarily. Please always assume this event is mainly in the open.

The Gardens are owned & run by a small independent charitable trust. We are tiny, but have a very big responsibility to keep and share(!) this unique and important survival of a 350 yr old formal Garden and Parkland. We do not receive any regular funding. Your tickets and purchases really help :)
