Transport & Address:

Meet us on site at Buckinghamshire New University at 10am. We will be working near the Owen Harris Building - number 15 on this map. The nearest postcode is HP11 2JZ.

There is no parking on site and we would recommend parking at the Eden Shopping Centre just a short walk away.

Please can we ask everyone to arrive on time to ensure you do not miss the health & safety and task briefing. If you are late and the session has already started, you may not be able to join. Thank you.

You don't need to print off your Eventbrite ticket!

The Task:

We will be cutting and raking our main campus meadow at Buckinghamshire New University, along with cutting back buddleia, planting out and sowing yellow rattle.

Timings (please note these timings are approximate):

10.00: Arrival on site for task and safety briefing, please don't be late!

10.15: Work begins

11.30: Tea & coffee break

13.00: Lunch time, please bring your own

15.30: Work finishes, time to go home!

What to Bring:

Please bring your gloves (we will have spares) and dress for the weather and the task.

Long trousers are advisable as there may be ticks and thorny vegetation. We also recommend wearing steel toe capped or sturdy boots rather than trainers.

Wear layers that you can remove if you get hot whilst working. Bring a waterproof as most of our sites have no shelter from the rain.

Please bring plenty of fluids and a packed lunch. We will bring a tea kit and biscuits.

Please note:

Biscuits are served at all Chiltern Rangers sessions. Please advise if you have an allergy.

Sometimes there is a need for us to use power tools that can be noisy.

Anything else?

Please do not hesitate to contact us if you want to discuss anything further. Call 01494 474486 or email info@chilternrangers.co.uk.
