Event description
The 26th Bucks County Beekeepers Spring Seminar will be held on Saturday 12th February 2022 at the John Colet School in Wendover.

About this event

The 26th annual spring seminar hosted by Bucks County Beekeepers will take place at the John Colet School, Wharf Road Wendover on Saturday 12th February 2022 starting at 10am (doors open 9:30).

The event will be a "hybrid" event with speakers and attendees in the hall and viewing on line via Zoom

The speakers are:

Martin Bencsik: Applications of vibrations monitoring in a honeybee colony, with recent results on varroa and honeybee reflex arc response.

Jonathan Powell: Free-Living Bees.

John Taylor: Insects, the World's most successful creatures.

There will also be a raffle and stalls to browse: Bumblebee Conservation Trust, Bees Abroad, BBKA, Central Association of Bee Keepers, the Bucks Microscopy Group and hopefully a book stall from Northern Bee Books. 

Tea, coffee and cakes will be available and the cost for the event is £5 (the fee applies to both in person and on line attendance). Delegates will need to provide their own lunch.

Tickets will be available on the door on the day at a cost £7:50 and do not include a raffle number.

The Bucks County Beekeepers AGM will be held at the end of the meeting.
