Join us at Highfields Sport Complex for the opening day of the 2025/26 BUCS Super Rugby campaign as University of Nottingham take on Loughborough in our first Headliner fixtures of the year!
Both our women's and men's rugby union sides will be playing at Highfields Sports Complex, a short walk away from University Park Campus as we open our new showpiece pitch under the floodlights.
Kick-off for the women's match is scheduled for 4pm, and the kick-off for the men's match is scheduled for 7pm.
Both matches see the #GreenandGold take on local rivals Loughborough in fixtures supported by Red Bull. The men's fixture is the opening match of our 2025/26 BUCS Super Rugby campaign, whilst our women's fixture is an exhibition between the two universities.

With global brand Red Bull's support, the series delivers Headliner events with superb spectator experience. From live DJ's to a fantastic atmosphere, this first Headliner of 2025/26 will be one not to miss. The event, held during welcome week, is only a short walk from Halls on the edge of University Park and will feature an outdoor bar, food and refreshments area.
Getting to Highfields & Entry
The match will take place at Highfields Sports Complex, and due to a lack of parking, we encourage spectators to use public transport wherever possible as parking is by appointment only.
Gates open for the fixture at 3pm and you will be able to enter by scanning you eticket.

Carry-in policy
Sealed bottles of water and soft drinks, and personal size food items (e.g., a sandwich, crisps, piece of fruit) are all permitted. Strictly no alcohol is permitted to be brought into the complex.
Concessions
Food and drink will be available inside from various concessions stands. These operate via Cashless payment only (options include credit/debit cards).
Parking
Parking on-site is restricted and by appointment only and therefore there is limited parking availability at Highfields Sports Complex.
