Weekend Retreat: Buddhist Meditations That Change Everything

Normally, we spend much of our lives seeking external change in the hope of finding happiness. Buddha taught that true happiness is peace of mind, inner peace. These are practical meditations that teach us how to make ourself and others happy by developing our inner peace, and in this way making our lives meaningful.

This weekend is an opportunity to learn about or deepen our experience of some of the twenty-one Buddhist meditations taught by modern day Buddhist Master, Ven Geshe Kelsang Gyatso.

The retreat will be guided by Buddhist Nun, Gen Kelsang Lekchog. Kelsang Lekchog is the Resident Teacher at KMC Sheffield. Her warmth and kindness show in her teachings , and she is able to explain clearly Buddha’s profound teachings in a way that is suitable for everyone.

Benefits of This Retreat:

  • Learn methods to control your mind
  • Experience your own peace of mind
  • Connect with other people on a similar quest to find meaning and real inner peace.

Lunch and light refreshments included. Our World Peace Cafe will be open for barista drinks and cakes.

Everybody is welcome!

Suitable for beginners and those with some experience.
