Date and time

About this event
Dear Dharma Friends,
The Buddhist Society of Pittsburgh (BSP) Planning Committee has scheduled an event at Zen Center of Pittsburgh for Saturday, September 12, 2020, to practice together and socialize responsibly and safely.
Service will focus on Covid-19: chanting for well-being and healing, particularly those suffering with the disease as well as memorial for those who have died from it. Chants will be offered by 6 or so traditions, Theravada - Mahayana.
We are asking folks to register so we can better prepare for whatever pandemic control measures are in place.
If the weather is rainy we will offer an alternate date.
We will practice physical distancing and wearing of masks. The program will be published on the BSP website so people can either access it on their phones or print it out and bring it with them.
Please bring your own:
o Water bottle and water
o Meditation setup: chair, or cushion with blanket to use on the lawn
Please refrain from bringing food to share or things (e.g.flyers) to hand out .
