Budget, Brexit – What next for HR?
Thu 27 April 2017, 17:00 – 19:00 BST
Now that Article 50 has been triggered, thoughts are focusing on the impact of Brexit on recruitment, with CIPD having just identified Recruitment Proposition as one of three key action areas for HR practitioners. There’s no doubt that the combined impact of near-full employment and potential huge shifts in the recruitment pool will bring us considerable challenges over the years to come. Additionally, talk continues post-budget, despite the apparent U-turn, about the contribution that self-employed people could and should be making, which follows hot on the heels of the challenges to the GIG economy.
With change swirling around us, it's timely that our guest speaker on Thursday 27 April 2017 is Kevin Green, CEO of the Recruitment & Employment Confederation (REC), who will share his insight into how HR will change over the next decade and what great HR will look like as a result.
This is relevant to all members and Kevin will speak from both a business and not-for-profit perspective.
Our 15-minute Annual Meeting will be held at the start of this FREE event. A barbecue buffet and wine will be served after Kevin's presentation - a great opportunity for some networking.
