Budgeting for Taking on Staff
Maybe you’re ready to put yourself onto payroll, perhaps you’re considering recruiting your first member of staff, or you might just need to know how to calculate the cost of an employee for a funding bid. This workshop will cover the fundamental costs of employing people, including how to accurately calculate payroll costs and account for future increases in NI, pension, minimum wage rates and other inevitabilities. Comes with a free spreadsheet!
This is workshop 2 from a series of 3 workshops for Budgeting for Business, which will be led by May Fairweather from Talk About Money CIC. It is aimed at those working, volunteering, or starting out in the VCFSE (voluntary, community and faith-based groups, and social enterprise organisations) sector in Stockport.
Please note the Sector 3 office at Merseyway Innovation Centre holds a maximum of 10 people. Refreshments such as tea and coffee will be provided.
