Are you part of a grassroots charity and feel unsure about the finance side of things? You’re not alone—and this friendly, practical workshop is designed exactly for you.

Join us for a 2‑hour, hands‑on Finance Fundamentals session that will give you the essential tools to manage your organisation’s money with confidence. No jargon. No previous finance experience needed. Just simple methods, practical examples, and supportive guidance.

What You’ll Learn

During this interactive workshop, you will discover how to:

  • Keep clear and simple financial records using an easy‑to‑use spreadsheet
  • Create a realistic and usable budget tailored to your organisation’s needs
  • Produce a cashflow forecast so you can anticipate challenges before they happen

You’ll also receive ready‑to‑use toolkits and templates you can take away and start implementing straight away.

Meet Your Trainer – Sarah Humphreys

Sarah is a Client Manager at Gascoynes, where she’s been supporting a wide variety of businesses since February 2024. She specialises in preparing accounts, tax returns, and VAT returns, and brings a down‑to‑earth, approachable style to finance training. Sarah understands the challenges charitable organisations face and is passionate about empowering people to feel in control of their numbers.
