Join Wendy Breakell, entrepreneur and named one of the top 50 business advisors in the North West, for this two part workshop covering the practicalities of starting and growing your business.
These two 3-hour workshops cover the essential ‘nuts and bolts’ of starting up and running a successful enterprise, including:
• Legal structures
• Business planning
• E-commerce
• Cashflow, Finance and Tax
• Marketing
• Finding funding
• Pitching
Lunch is included.
You will also learn about the Build A Business programme, offering support and facilities to help you succeed. Additional workshops include:

PLEASE NOTE: These workshops are part of a series. It is strongly recommended that you attend all four workshops.
To join this workshop you or your business needs to have a postcode within the following GM authorities: Bolton, Bury, Oldham, Manchester, Salford, Stockport, Tameside or Trafford.

An aspiring entrepreneur with a business idea you want to develop.
Build a Business in GM Libraries is part funded by the European Union, with a grant of £1.3 million from ERDF funding, and managed by Manchester City Council. The project will run from January 2021-June 2023.
