Join Kinning Park Complex's community garden group to help build a mushroom bed! This is a new venture for us, so whether you're a seasoned grower or a newbie like us, your help will be much appreciated & you'll be rewarded with fresh mushrooms!
This will be a chance to meet others in your community, learn how to grow mushrooms & connect with nature.
Glasgow Community Food Network have been working with KPC to support food related delivery. This includes working alongside the community garden group, who meet every Monday.
KPC's gardening group takes place every Monday & we are always looking for new members. If you're interested in finding out more, head over to KPC's socials:

Access:
This workshop will be outdoors. This will require some lifting, bending & kneeling. We can try to make accommodations to make the session more accessible. KPC is a busy community centre which can be loud but there is a quiet and prayer room inside the venue. Members of the public are likely to be using the garden at the same time as us.
Hot & cold drinks & snacks will be provided. The session will be informal & casual in nature
There is step free access to both the garden and KPC venue.
Accessible & gender neutral toilets.
For any concerns or questions about access, please reach out to Ailee at ailee.burns@glasgowfood.net
