Build a website in a couple of hours
In two hours you will go from never having coded in your life to publishing your first website on the Internet. If you have a start-up, society or personal website you need made, why not make it yourself with some free expert tuition? This "How to Make a Website" workshop is for complete beginners and all the training material will be available online, after the session, for you to constantly refer back to.

About the session host
Alex Jones is a third year Information Management for Business student at UCL and has been making websites for the past five years. He is the founder, and software engineer of www.theoak.co and I spent his summer designing and coding www.clippetnews.com. He is looking forward to helping as many people as possible create their first ever website.

Filming, photography and recording
Participants are encouraged to take photographs, film clips and recordings of sessions and distribute these via social media. In addition the event organisers will be capturing the event and distributing photographs and film clips via the event website and other public channels. By attending a digifest event you consent to photographs and film clips being used in this way.
