The Build Programme provides careers support and information for those preparing to gain work experience, training, an apprenticeship, a new job or making a change career in the industry.

During this event you will join other participants as you hear from professionals in the Built Environment sector on allyship and how they #ChooseToChallenge bias and discrimination within the construction industry.

This will be a great opportunity to network with and hear from panel members about their career journey as you take part in online career mentoring and open, frank and honest Q & A sessions with our professional panel.

About The Build Programme - How does it work?

In response to the current public health and economic challenges, the Build programme has moved its programme of support online. We will be hosting a series of careers events from speed mentoring to advice sessions designed to support people impacted by the effects of the public health crisis to better understand the opportunities available in construction, property and the built environment. These sessions provide support via:

• Careers advice
• Preparing and developing a CV
• Job applications
• Portfolio feedback
• Career planning
• Getting ready for interview and more
