Build for Humans: The BBC Neural Commons
Overview
Building for Humans: The BBC Neural Commons
How do we design technology that not only works, but feels genuinely good to use?
Join the BBC’s UX and Inclusive Design teams, together with researchers from Durham University Centre for Research into Inner Experience and the Cambridge ThinkLab, for an interactive session on the Neural Commons: a new approach to building emotional accessibility into products and AI.
We’ll explore why the attention economy is reaching its limits, what it means to design for trust, and how emotional experience is becoming a defining factor in the next generation of digital products.
Expect early insights, open discussion, and a look at the research shaping this work. Join us in-person at The Glasshouse Innovate Cambridge or online.
This event is open to anyone interested in shaping the future of digital experiences: product leads, designers, engineers, researchers, technologists, game developers and anyone exploring the intersections of UX, AI, ethics, and public-value technology.
