This session is designed for early-stage founders, solo entrepreneurs, and startup-curious professionals. You don’t need a fully-formed business. Just a desire to build and share your idea with others.

Do I need a pitch deck or a finished product?

Nope! This workshop is designed to help you build your strategy and practice your pitch — whether you're pre-launch, post-MVP, or somewhere in between

Question 3

What should I bring?

Accepted Answer

Bring a notebook or laptop, your idea (no matter how rough), and an open mind. We’ll provide worksheets, strategy templates, and a pitch structure on the day.

Question 4

Will I have to pitch in front of everyone?

Accepted Answer

Not unless you want to! There’s time to pitch in small peer groups, and the optional guest pitch in the afternoon is just that optional. You’ll never be put on the spot.

Is this workshop suitable for introverts?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely. Kathryn creates a supportive, non-judgmental environment with a strong emphasis on safety and collaboration. You’ll have time to reflect, write, and participate at your own pace.

I’m not based in Edinburgh. Can I join remotely?

Accepted Answer

This event is currently planned as an in-person session. If you’re interested in a virtual version, let us know. We may run one later in the year.

Can I bring a co-founder or collaborator?

Yes! Just select the group rate when booking. This applies to groups of 3 or more.
