Roll up your sleeves and get ready to style, shoot, and build it all yourself in this hands-on food photography masterclass like no other.
Working in small groups, you’ll design and create multiple food photography sets from scratch. From selecting surfaces and backdrops to lighting, styling, and composition, you’ll make creative decisions and craft each image as you go.
This session is perfect for photographers who want to practise real-world food photography techniques in a supportive, inspiring environment—and finally put all the pieces together.
You’ll Learn How To:
- Plan and build 3–4 visually distinct food scenes with your group
- Choose and combine surfaces, backdrops, and props that work together
- Use lighting (natural or artificial) to enhance texture and mood
- Style dishes for different stories: rustic, modern, bold, minimal
- Shoot with purpose—using angles and framing to elevate your composition
- Work collaboratively (just like a real shoot!) and receive live feedback throughout
This is your chance to experiment, create, and walk away with styled portfolio-ready shots. All props, backdrops, and gear will be provided—just bring your camera, curiosity, and maybe an extra bag for the leftover cake… 🍰
