Event description

Description

This workshop is designed to help businesses remain resilient and find new opportunities to sustain and grow, even during times of economic uncertainty.

Join us to explore how Brexit, a changing global economy and local consumer insights could result in changes for your business – and how you can get ahead of the competition.

Our workshops are best suited for sole traders, small or medium sized businesses looking to provide their clients, investors and employees with the assurance that they can and will continue to trade in a changing economic landscape.

About the speaker:

Sietske de Groot is a well-known and recognised EU expert. Before setting up her own consultancy TradePeers Ltd, she represented the Federation of Small Businesses at EU level. She lobbied on the General Data Protection Regulation, Food labelling rules, Geoblocking rules, and VAT on e-services and online sales. Sietske also worked on aviation issues in Brussels, and filled policy roles in local government in the Netherlands and the UK, where she secured EU funding for several projects.

Sietske is Lead Trainer (SMEs) for BrexitHelp.net, which has been commissioned by the London Growth Hub to deliver a Brexit resilience programme to London-based SMEs.
