Event description

Description

This event is suitable for families with children aged 7 +.

Please note, due to space limitations, one full price ticket purchase entitles one accompanying adult to attend for free.

Using simple junk materials, build your own working vinyl record player to take home and use. Dust off your old records and bring them along to play*!

These workshops will be delivered by vintage sound recordists Lathe Revival.

*Bring 33rpm or 78rpm discs only (no 45rpms). We’d encourage you not to bring your most precious records!

Maker Month is part of Maker Faire UK, presented by Life Science Centre and supported by the Reece Foundation and Make Magazine. For more information visit makerfaireuk.com

This event is part of Play + Invent, Discovery Museum's new family programme for budding inventors, designers and makers! For more information visit www.discoverymuseum.org.uk/play-invent
