About this event
In Touch member Scott Thomas, and his colleagues, will be discussing their experience implementing a Leader as Coach strategy, and how they improved workplace culture, working relationships and employee retention.
Scott is the General Manager of a successful family-owned business and is passionate about building strong workplace culture.
The Leader as Coach strategy develops employees into exceptional leaders by teaching them basic coaching skills. This program provides a structured learning environment which allows experienced professionals to develop the key skills of coaching and apply them to their daily activities. This unique approach allows learners to assess their strengths and areas for improvement and transform them into skilled influencers and challengers.
Scott explains how his leadership team at Buckeye Honda has fully embraced their Leader as Coach strategy. He says "For us, this means developing the skills of our team members through transparent communication, mastering the art of asking questions, respect through listening, serving with passion and gratitude, and always demonstrating teamwork. Our team members now achieve goals that benefit themselves and the organization".
