Building a New Economy:
The case for a Basic Income and Making Money Work for People, not Banks
Join CLP Cities of London and Westminster and the Young Fabians Finance Network for a discussion about how to build an economy that works for everyone.
Guest speakers Dr. Malcolm Torry (Director, Citizen's Income Trust) and David Clarke (Advocacy & Policy Advisor, Positive Money) will set out their views on the radical changes that are needed to make sure monetary and macro-economic policy works in the interests of the many and not the few. There will be lots of room for questions and discussion.
The event is open to all members of the public. Whether you know next to nothing about the Basic Income or are an expert on the topic, we'd encourage you to turn up and take part.
Drinks and snacks will be provided. And after the event you'll have the opportunity to join us at the pub to continue the conversation.
We look forward to seeing you there.
