Building a relationship with your abattoir

Are there questions that you’ve always wanted to ask the abattoir but never had the chance? Here’s your opportunity!.

Join Pasture for Life Cymru and the staff of WJ George Butchers Ltd for an afternoon tour of their abattoir, which has been operating since 1988, and a family butchers shop for over 135 years. There will be a question and answer session about all things abattoir related, ranging from preparing sheep and cattle pre slaughter, the processes involved, to legislation old and new. Come prepared with some burning questions and WJ George staff will try their best to answer them.
