About this event

Calling all public sector sustainability champions - join the South West College team for 2 days of innovation and knowledge sharing as we present the ‘Building a Sustainable Future - Delivering a road map for Public Sector and Educational Organisations’ international conference.

Hosted in parallel with the International Passive House Association (iPHA) 2022 Camp which will also take place in Enniskillen, Northern Ireland for the first time in its history, Building a Sustainable Future will provide an opportunity for collaborative working to help advance sustainability practices and strategies within your organisation. The two-day conference will bring together internationally recognised educators and policy makers and influencers from across the globe.

As an iPHA network member, South West College is proud that its very own award winning and internationally renowned Erne Campus, Enniskillen is the world’s largest Passive House Premium rated building. Passive House Premium is one of the highest standards that can be conferred in construction and it is fitting that this building has been chosen to host this very prestigious international conference.

delegates will have the opportunity to learn about and explore this innovative campus during the two day conference.

Delegates will listen to key note speeches from some of the world’s leading sustainability practitioners and academics and participate in stimulating workshops and seminars in a relaxing and informative small group environment.

Delegates will be invited to attend a special Gala Dinner on Tuesday 27th September with an opportunity to experience the finest local cuisine, hospitality, culture and heritage for which Northern Ireland is synonymous. The event will provide networking opportunities to meet with colleagues and like-minded sustainability practitioners from across the globe.

1. Booking online indicates acceptance of our booking conditions

2. By booking through Eventbrite, you are registering yourself of others within your organisation, as delegates for the Conference

3. Payment must be included at the time of completing your online ticket application. If your organisation is unable to use this system, please contact us on for assistance. A receipt will be furnished to you upon payment being received by South West College

4. Ticket prices are correct at the time of publishing. South West College reserves the right to change prices at any time but changes will not affect registrations which have already been confirmed and paid for

5. If you are unable to attend, a substitute delegate may avail of your place, however this must be notified to event organisers not later than 72 hours before the start of the conference, otherwise payment will be forfeited

6. All cancellations should be made through the online booking system. You can cancel your place by following the link on the original booking confirmation email. An administration charge of £50 + VAT will be charged for places cancelled more than seven days before the event. For places cancelled within seven days the full cost is chargeable

7. We may take photos of delegates at our events which could be used for marketing purposes. If you do not wish to be featured in photos please indicate this to our photographs or let us know by emailing

8. It may be necessary for reasons beyond the control of the organisers to alter the content, speaker line up or timings of the conference at late notice

9. South West College will not accept liability for transport disruption or individual transport disruption

10. In the unlikely event that South West College has to cancel the event, your ticket cost will be reimbursed. South West College will not be able to reimburse you for any other costs like travel and/or accommodation

11. Delegates details will be kept on our records but we will not share your details with any other organisation

12. On the day of the event, the delegate list, name job title and organisation only may be shared with attendees to facilitate networking opportunities. This list should not be used for overt selling, either during or after the event

13. South West College aims to ensure that the conference venue is accessible to all audiences. Please let us know if you have any additional access requirements as early as possible and we will do our best to accommodate your needs. 14. If you require a BSL or ISL interpreter please let us know not later than one month in advance if possible as they are often in demand. Please note that South West College will make every effort to provide a BSL or ISL interpreter but this will be subject to availability
