Event description
A panel discussion exploring the opportunities and challenges of sourcing, using and reusing timber.

About this Event

Join Steve Wallis from dRMM, David Hopkins from the Timber Trade Federation and an expert panel for a series of discussions exploring the opportunities and challenges of sourcing, using and reusing timber in an increasingly conscientious construction industry.

Steve Wallis, dRMM

Steve is an Associate and Architect at dRMM, with working experience in education, leisure and mixed-use residential projects. In 2016, his team was shortlisted for the RIBA Stirling Prize for Trafalgar Place – a hybrid CLT housing scheme in Elephant & Castle. At Sky Health & Fitness Centre, he worked in collaboration with Arup to put engineered timber to the test by creating structural columns, beams, perimeter walls and floors out of glulam and CLT to deliver a state-of the art well-being centre
