About the Accelerate Programme
Accelerate is a programme funded by the UK Government’s Community Renewal Fund* and is open to all North Somerset businesses and sectors that are facing barriers to accessing business support.
Particular attention is being given to rural businesses, deprived communities across the area, female entrepreneurs, 18 – 35 year olds, creative industries and food and drinks producers. This programme is being delivered in partnership with North Somerset Council, Weston College, North Somerset Enterprise Agency and ourselves.
The Food and Drink Forum element of the programme will include a series of events including seminars, how to and practical workshops delivered at the Food Works, including an intensive technical support offer to 15 food and drink manufacturers. More details will be available shortly on our website or contact the team at 01934 315381.
*The Community Renewal Fund is a UK Government programme for 2021/22 that aims to support people and communities most in need across the UK to pilot programmes and new approaches to prepare for the UK Shared Prosperity Fund. It invests in skills, community and place, local business and supporting people into employment.
