Join a host of industry professionals at a two-day research conference which will explore what it really takes to build an inclusive Creative Industry in East London and beyond?
This thought-provoking research conference includes insightful panel discussions, research presentations, and networking opportunities, that brings together young creatives, academics, practitioners, policymakers, and community voices to explore inclusion, access, and equity across the Creative Industries. This event, is part of the Creative Industries Festival 2025 and is hosted by Creative Futures, the Centre for Inclusive Research and Creative Arts (CIRCA), and the University of East London at The Source, Theatre Square, Stratford, London E15 1BX
Over the two days the conference will unpack some of the most urgent questions facing our sector today:
- What are the key stepping stones to creating inclusive Creative Industries for East London?
- Who are the missing voices — and how do we address the gaps in access, training, and provision?
- Where is best practice happening, and what has made it successful?
- How do we share learning and drive structural change?
- How do we measure the impact of our work and ensure it leads to meaningful progress?
Let’s work together to amplify voices, remove barriers, and build a creative industry that reflects and serves us all.
