The coronavirus pandemic has turned the world upside down, exposing major weaknesses in our economy and the inequalities in our society that mean the most vulnerable people have been hit the hardest. With rising unemployment, we urgently need good quality, unionised, green jobs. We know our communities and local areas deserve better and need to be protected into the future so invite you to join us and bring your ideas of what Building Back Better looks like in Huddersfield and the Kirklees area (including Batley & Spen, Colne Valley & Dewsbury constituencies).

Throughout the event, we will be imagining and sharing our ideas whilst an artist helps us create our collective vision. We will also focus on topics that we know matter in our communities and come out of this meeting with a shared idea of what Building Back Better means for Huddersfield and the Kirklees area as well as some steps you can take to help us get there.
