Building Bricks for Autism: An Introduction to Lego-based Therapy

Dr Gina Gomez de la Cuesta

Dr Gina Gomez de la Cuesta is a Clinical Psychologist working in the NHS and running Bricks for Austism. Bricks for Autism offers training and information about LEGO-based therapy, a social skills programme for children and young people with social communication difficulties. Gina studied LEGO-based therapy for her PhD at the Autism Research Centre in Cambridge, and since has co-authored a manual and developed training in LEGO-based therapy.

In this session you will get an introduction to the principles of LEGO-based therapy, including some hands on experience.

There is no parking at the venue but there is plenty of parking along Coton High Street. Cyclists can use the Coton Footpath direct to the door.
