ENVIRONMENTAL SUSTAINABILITY: the responsibility to conserve natural resources and protect global ecosystems to ensure both the needs of the present and the needs of future generations can be met

With increasing legislation, policies and regulation, growing consumer awareness and pressure from investors on becoming a circular, net zero carbon business, environmental sustainability is firmly on the agenda for many organisations.

During this webinar series, we will walk you through the legislation, benefits and high level implementation guidance relating to net zero carbon and circular economy, including some jargon busting, how to track and calculate your carbon footprint, overview of various business audits and how a product’s LCA can help demonstrate sustainable business.

This event is for Small to Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in the Black Country or Stoke & Staffordshire regions ONLY.

Session 3 - Behaviour Change

Understand how behaviour change management is key to delivery maximum positive environmental impact within your business, including increased employee satisfaction, better return on investment and best practice. The second hour of this webinar will be an interactive session and discussion with practical advice on behaviour change.

Organiser of Building Business Resilience: Behaviour Change

EnTRESS supports Small Medium Enterprises (SMEs) on the development and adoption of environmental technologies and resource efficient processes. EnTRESS is part funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) to promote sustainable economic growth.

EnTRESS engages with SMEs and large organisations to link academic research into business, driving innovation in areas such as waste management, bioremediation, biopolymers, pollution control and sustainable operations. We understand that the environmental technologies sector is a varied and fast moving, so EnTRESS will provide the practical support to help SMEs engage with these innovations.  
 
EnTRESS is part of the University of Wolverhampton's Faculty of Science and Engineering.
