Yvonne Akinmodun is an Executive Career Coach, speaker, and former HR Director with over 25 years of experience supporting professionals in both public and private sector organisations. With a background in Human Resources, Yvonne is a qualified and accredited career coach. She is also the founder of Career Coaching Matters, where she specialises in helping mid to late-career professionals, especially women confidently navigate career transitions, leadership growth, and workplace challenges.

As someone who has worked in and supported professionals within traditionally male-led industries including technology, engineering, and financial services, Yvonne understands first-hand the unspoken rules and gender dynamics that can hold talented women back. Her own career journey, which includes successfully reinventing herself after redundancy gives her a unique perspective on resilience, reinvention, and rising with intention.
