Early Years Music Scotland is delivering a year-long programme of free, high-quality, creative and inspiring continuous professional learning and development for musicians working with children in the early years across Scotland, supported by Creative Scotland's Youth Music Initiative.
This workshop is free-of-charge to musicians who are resident in Scotland and working with children in the early years (0-5yrs). Non-Scottish residents and non-musicians may purchase a ticket.
This workshop will be recorded and available to view for one month following the event. If you are unable to attend live, you can select a 'session recording' ticket. The recording will be sent to all ticket holders within 48 hours of the event. Please book one ticket only.

Building Confidence for Creatives: Tools to Show Up FullyConfidence can feel elusive—especially in creative work. One day it’s there, the next it’s gone. But what if confidence wasn’t just something you have or don’t, but something you could train?In this practical, evidence-based workshop, we’ll explore proven tools and techniques to build more stable, lasting confidence. You’ll leave with strategies to help you show up more fully—in your work, your relationships, and your creative life.
This workshop will be delivered by Lee Holland. Lee is a freelance orchestral flautist performing regularly with the RSNO, SCO and Scottish Opera. She is hugely dedicated to supporting individuals and teams in high performance settings through her work as a performance coach. Lee has a specialism working with arts professionals, and lecturing undergraduate and post graduate students at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and beyond. She holds an MSc in Performance Psychology and Postgraduate Diploma in Psychology from the University of Edinburgh and Derby University, Professional Coaching Certificate from Full Circle Global, and teaching certificates from the Centre for Mindfulness Research and Practice at Bangor University. She is a registered practitioner through the British Association for Performing Arts Medicine (BAPAM).
