When your confidence doesn't match your competence

About this event

Part Of Our Positive Wellbeing In Healthcare Series

Specifically developed for Healthcare Professionals both in and out of the NHS. Previous attendees have been OT's, Physios, Nurses, other AHP's, Doctors & others.

More often than not our competence at work in our roles is actually higher than our confidence. This mismatch can led to something we call 'Imposter Syndrome'. This discomfort can hold us back and even effect us in our roles, undermining our skill set. This can all be rectified using a few tools and techniques from psychology.

This workshop answers the following points:

  • Why does it sometimes take a while for our confidence to catch up with us
  • What is Imposter syndrome, and how can we change it?
  • Working with self-doubt
  • Building confidence at work and in your role

Register for the free live Zoom session and join others in your profession. Join the Facebook group and connect in-between the other workshops.

"Thank you so much for the workshops. I've found the topics really interesting and feel they will benefit me both personally and professionally. They have been a great mix of scientific theory, small group discussions, and practical ideas. I'm already looking forward to future courses!" Lucy C (Physiotherapist)
