Overview
Psychologist and hope researcher Charles Snyder uses the terms willpower (your motivation to keep trying) and waypower (ability to find new pathways to reach a goal) and says: hope is the sum of the mental willpower and waypower you have for your goals.'
Positive thinking, planning and preparation, along with having a good support network, can all impact upon our levels of confidence and courage to make positive lasting change.
Developing a growth mindset is about understanding that we have the means to improve, whether that be for a specific skill or task or for our overall wellbeing mentally and physically. So many of us sabotage our full potential by the way that we think.
In this final session we will be pulling together all of the topics and identify what personal changes we will be taking into our future to take control of the controllable elements of our life.
What to expect if you've never been before.
Our class based workshops are a relaxed way to find out more about how to improve your overall wellbeing. You will not be expected to speak up if you do not wish to, you can just turn up, grab a coffee, and listen in.
