This Masterclass will demonstrate the importance of ensuring the right legal foundations are in place in your business.

Session Content

The Masterclass will look at:

  • People - Contracts of employment, non-competition clauses, confidentiality and staff handbooks.
  • Shareholders and Directors - Shareholders agreements,Terms & Conditions and commercial agreements.
  • Intellectual Property - What IP is, the different types of protection and costs.
  • Bricks and mortar - Buying and leasing.
  • Aged debt - Staying on top of debt and winning debt claims.

We are pleased to be able to provide this masterclass free of charge due to funding from the European Regional Development Fund. There are a number of eligibility criteria for attendees which we will check using the online registration questions and in a phone call to every attendee prior to the event.

What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?

This Masterclass will take place at the Sheffield City Region offices, 11 Broad Street West, Sheffield.

The building is located off Park Square roundabout, opposite the Travelodge/Q Park.

Paid parking is available in the Q Park, or other nearby car parks.

Alternatively, there is easy access by train and tram, with the building being a 10 minute walk from Sheffield Station. The nearest tram stop is Fitzalan Square.

How accessible is the venue?

There are no restrictions on access to the venue - it is accessible to everyone. There is a lift to the first floor.
