Building Future Ready Organisations
Overview
This immersive and hands-on one-day class transports participants to a version of Skåne in 2035, where teams from speculative future organizations will examine their journeys toward creating truly future-minded cultures. Set within a shared regional ecosystem, participants will explore how different organizations faced similar challenges but developed unique approaches to cultural transformation.
Working from this future vantage point, teams will draw on skills as both organizational historians and embedded futurists—looking back at the critical decisions, pivotal moments, and cultural adaptations that shaped their success, while also examining emerging challenges that still lie ahead.
Through collaborative exercises, teams will map their transformation across six key dimensions: people and mindset, language and communication, tools and knowledge, space and experience, rules and norms, and networks and ecosystems. The class culminates with the creation of tangible artifacts that represent these evolved organizational cultures—from internal communications and policy documents to strategic roadmaps and innovation protocols.
This perspective-shifting approach provides fresh insights into present-day transformation opportunities while building practical skills for cultural evolution. Participants will leave with concrete strategies for embedding future-readiness throughout their organizations, along with a deeper understanding of how different elements of organizational culture interact within regional ecosystems.
