ABOUT
Public Housing in London is evolving. After a break of almost four decades councils are building again and working with communities to deliver some of the best new housing anywhere in the UK.
In this lecture, urban historian at Karakusevic Carson, Mike Althorpe puts the current wave of change into the epic urban perspective of the past 180 years, charting the rise, fall and rise of public housing, its shifting architectural form, its big ideas and its dynamic relationship with our political landscape.
