Event description
As part of ODI Learning Month 2021, join us for a new four-part series of 2.5 hour training courses with our open data ecosystems experts.

About this event

In this four-part interactive and practical course, we’ll be looking at open data ecosystems, and helping you overcome challenges to unlock value from data.

Unlocking value from open data can be tricky. The data that businesses and organisations work with is part of a complex ecosystem – one consisting of data infrastructure and the people, businesses, and communities that benefit from it. It can also be limited by licences and data sharing agreements, worries about working with personal data, and data that isn’t even usable yet.

Our experts will help you address the common fears and misconceptions that can stop data getting to those who need it.

At the end of each 2.5 hour session, you’ll have the tools, skills, guides and additional learning materials to apply your new knowledge in a real environment.

Sessions included on the course:

- Session 1: Data ecosystems: Strategies for change and barriers to success

- Session 2: Understanding the role of open, shared and closed data in a data ecosystems

- Session 3: Working with personal data

- Session 4: Improving the quality and interoperability of data
