About this event

A round Table Talk with contemporary witnesses - planners, architects, activists - involved in the planning, design and contesting of Lambeth’s council estates conceived between 1965 and 1980.

The discussion complements and responds to the Building ‘’Homes for Tomorrow’’ exhibition bringing together artefacts and voices of the period. With a distance of 50 years, aspects of the architectural, political, planning, and conservation context will be presented, in an attempt to define the legacy of Lambeth’s public housing schemes of the period.
