Building Inclusion Together – January Online Gathering
Overview
Join us for a two-hour working session focused on inclusion across Cornwall & Isles of Scilly’s communities, workplaces, and systems.
This is an open space for anyone committed to making inclusion real, across the public sector, Voluntary, Community, Faith and Social Enterprise (VCSE) sectors, and business.
This isn’t about arriving with a fixed plan, or Cornwall Voluntary Sector Forum (VSF) leading the way. It’s about starting honestly from where we are; recognising what’s working, naming what isn’t, and imagining what could be. Together, we’ll reflect, connect, and begin shaping a shared vision for inclusion in Cornwall.
We know that for some, the pace and process of previous inclusion work has been frustrating. This session is a chance to reset. To have honest conversations, build shared purpose, and move forward on equal footing. We don’t need to agree on everything, just understand each other better and decide what happens next, together.
Why this matters:
Cornwall is changing, and inclusion needs to change with it. This session gives us room to address what’s working, what isn’t, and what it will take to build something better across sectors.
What you’ll gain:
- A clearer view of how inclusion is being experienced across Cornwall
- Space to share your insight without hierarchy
- The chance to influence future cross-sector inclusion work
- New relationships and connections
- A reset point to start building something more coherent and shared
