Meet the facilitators:

Jade Lane Chartered MCIPD

This month, we are shining the spotlight on our communications cead, Jade Lane. As an Organisational Design & Development Consultant for the Ministry of Defence, Jade is dedicated to driving complex and high-profile people projects. With 15 years of experience spanning the public and private sectors, she has led transformational change, including an award-winning diversity and inclusion strategy and the delivery of large-scale recruitment campaigns during Brexit and COVID-19.

Recently diagnosed with ADHD, Jade has embraced its strengths, boundless creativity, rapid problem-solving, and systems thinking, to excel in strategic roles. She is passionate about empowering others, particularly care leavers and individuals from underrepresented backgrounds. When asked what inspired her to join our committee, Jade shared:

“I joined the CIPD Branch in Central London because it aligned with my philosophy - people are the foundation of successful organisations. The lovely people on the committee embody a winner’s mindset - they live by the principle that changing your environment transforms your mindset, and they consistently empower you to dream big! With diverse perspectives and deep compassion, the committee contributes to something greater than the sum of its parts, and that's our shared ambition to connect, develop, and support you."


Cassandra Hatton Chartered FCIPD

Cassandra is a vice chair of the CIPD Branch in Central London and brings nearly 20 years of leadership experience, having driven transformative change across sectors such as retail, technology, education, and not-for-profit in the UK and Australia. With a strong foundation in HR and psychology, she transitioned from HR leadership roles into broader corporate services and strategy positions, excelling in organisational growth, change, and transformation.

Previously, Cassandra served as Chief Operating Officer, she is known for her forward-thinking, engaging style, and practical approach, Cassandra excels at simplifying complexity and empowering teams to achieve exceptional results.

  6. Please note that refunds for CIPD non-member tickets will only be available until seven days prior to the event, any cancelled tickets after this will not receive a refund.
