Feeling the stress of working in construction, with its tight deadlines and highly-pressured projects? Yes, then, you are not alone!

This talk is created for highly-driven construction professionals, like you, to discover the power of mindfulness and show you how you can build it into your busy working week. Being in construction, it is vital that you incorporate the importance of wellbeing into your working life now, especially with alarming statistics of high suicide rates, cardiovascular disease and stress. Once mastered, you can live a happier work/ life balance.

This talk aims to help you to alleviate stress and anxiety, leaving you feeling energised and happier within yourself. Whether you're new to mindfulness practices or already familiar, you can find out more about mindfulness and be personally guided in a mindful visualisation. Not only will you learn quick and easy tips to use in your working week, we will finish with a guided mindfulness meditation, for you to experience, giving you some calm and relaxation in your busy working week.

CIOB members gain 3 CIOB CPD points when they reflect on the ethical aspects of their learning from this activity.
