About this event

In this workshop, we will use LEGO in a playful, but serious way to explore our sense of identity about ourselves and our communities and how these relate to Hadrian's wall. We will create models which represent various aspects of our identity and position them in relation to each other and to the wall. Through the worksho,p we shall see how we are connected to each other and what we can contribute to each other’s lives.

The "Lego Serious Play Method" is based on research which shows that this kind of hands-on, minds-on engagement produces a deeper, more meaningful experience which helps us to think about things we don't usually think about and discuss things we don't usually discuss. The workshops are aimed at adults who will enjoy LEGO and are interested in a novel and playful approach to engaging in creative and reflective activities. No LEGO experience or expertise is necessary, just a willingness to play and to share.

This activity is taking place as part of the Museum Late at the Great North Museum: Hancock.

This event is part of Northumbria University's Festival Hub.
