What is behind that arched wooden door that unlocks with a big old key?

For this workshop we are going to take a close look inside St Leonards Tower for our inspiration, then return to the museum to make sculptures to represent what we have seen. Using a mixture of materials including foam clay, lolly sticks, string and wire we can create a wobbly staircase or a selection of bells high up in the tower. The sculptures that we make will become part of a display about the important buildings of Newton Abbot.

All children MUST be accompanied by an adult for the duration of the session.

'Ticket type 2- additional child' should only be added to orders which contain a 'ticket type 1-1 adult and 1 child'

If you would like to amend your booking please contact the museum on 01626 201121

Unable to make the session? Please let us know so that we can offer your spaces to someone else, and also make sure we provide the right amount of materials with no wastage.

If this workshop sells out and you would like to be added to the waiting list, please email Newton Abbot Museum at: groups@newtonabbot-tc.gov.uk or call the Museum on 01626 201121
