Building on Pockets and Prospects
Event Information
About this Event
This session will showcase the Pockets & Prospects model developed by Glasgow social enterprises and explore how this is being developed to address the mental health & wellbeing needs emerging from Covid-19 across Scotland.
The previous Glasgow Pockets & Prospects Project aimed to address loneliness and mitigate against the negative impact of welfare reform and this session hear from one of the previously contributing community anchors / buyers and one of the earlier suppliers. They will each provide an overview of their experience of participating in this process and share insights on the learning and benefits that emerged for their respective organisations.
We will then outline how we are currently developing this approach, in partnership with Scottish Communities for Health & Wellbeing and CHEX, with the aim of addressing mental health and wellbeing needs within Scotland’s communities.
