Building on Scots Law: A Wee Intro for Construction Folk
About the Series
Building on Scots Law is a new CIArb (Scottish Branch) series designed to help construction and infrastructure professionals develop a practical understanding of the Scottish legal system and how it affects projects on the ground.
Each session offers an accessible introduction to key legal principles and dispute processes in Scotland- no prior legal knowledge required. Delivered by experienced practitioners, the series will help engineers, quantity surveyors, project managers, and commercial staff gain confidence in navigating the legal landscape that underpins construction in Scotland.
Session 1 – The Scottish Legal System
