About this event
Professionals have a hugely important role to play in supporting disabled children and their parent carers, but many are unfamiliar with the unique challenges that families face.
As a result, it’s common for professionals to feel out of their depth when approaching parents or unsure of how best to support them.
This CPD-accredited online workshop will provide all the essential information and practical advice that you’ll need to build more positive relationships with parent carers of children with additional needs.
It is suitable for professionals in England who support children aged 0-5 with additional needs or disabilities (with or without a diagnosis). This includes those working in Early Years, education, health, social care, or other supportive roles within the community. If you do not support children aged 0-5 and/or you do not live in England, please view our other CPD certified workshops and webinars.
This CPD-certified workshop was previously known as 'Working with Parent Carers of children with additional needs & disabilities'. The name has been changed to better reflect its content, but the material remains the same. If you have already attended 'Working with Parent Carers of children with additional needs & disabilities', you may be interested in our other CPD certified workshops and webinars.
