· School-hosted termly meetups in collaboration with PCFs.

· Space for shared experience, feedback, and co-design of support.

SEND Parent Link Staff

· Designated member of staff trained via PINS to be the key contact for SEND parents.

· It builds trust and consistency.

Termly SEND Communication Check-Ins

· Short, structured conversations between staff and parents focused on progress, concerns, and updates.

· Reduces ‘crisis-only’ communication.

SEND Celebration Events

· Spotlight achievements of neurodiverse students with parent involvement.

· Promotes positivity and reduces stigma.

Accessible Parent Surveys with Follow-Up

· Co-designed feedback tools for SEND families with commitment to act and report back.

· Helps schools refine approaches based on real parent voice.


Parent Buddy or Mentoring Network

· Connecting experienced SEND parents with new ones for peer support and shared knowledge.

Personalised Communication Plans

· Agreed communication method, frequency, and language preference for each SEND family.

· Ensures consistency and respects parent needs.
